RECOVERY DATA Guidance notes. The most important aspect of the recovery data is what you personally would need or require in the immediate aftermath of an incident. You should think this through carefully and using the form prepare the data you wish to save in the recovery data section prior to submitting the information. Insurance data. We have provided space for recording a variety of insurance policies. Credit and Debit card and accounts data. The concept of this section is to store only the most basic data that will allow the user to deal with an incident I.E. to report cards as lost damaged or stolen. In order to do this it is only necessary to identify card type and supplier together with the 24 hour contact number for reporting such events. The card number is not necessary to be able to enact this process as the card provider can identify the user and card. This is true for any data you wish to store for recovery, it should always be limited to what is absolutely necessary. Personal Customer defined data. This section allows the user to add any data they would like to have stored for recovery in the event of an incident, such as passport, driving licence and medical numbers etc. Customer Contacts data. An area for the user to store the contact numbers they may require access to in the event of an incident. Customer emergency contacts e-mail and up to 5 telephone. This is a key element of the recovery service. Following a major incident one of the often difficult issues is letting people know what has happened etc. The idea behind this section is for the user to set up a listing of e-mail addresses for friends family etc. The user can after a problem dictate an e-mail to the operator that will then be broadcast to the users emergency e-mail contact list. The user may also make use of this service by sending a text message to the service from your advised mobile number and using the users unique passcode. For More Information Contact: |
